Shahid Kapur will be taking a nine-month break from acting, but will not be holidaying or chilling out overseas! Shahid will undergo nine months of intense preparation for his dad's directorial debut Mausam.
Shahid has always said that no matter what he does, his acting talent could never match up to his dad's! So looks like he's putting his act together to give it his best shot for Pankaj Kapur's movie. Shahid won't be doing any other movie until 2010, just so that he can give full attention to Papa Dearest.

Mausam is an all out romantic film and will star Shahid in the lead opposite a new girl. The hunt for this fresh new face will begin soon!
The movie will be shot in Austria, UK, Spain, Italy and India and is slated to hit the floors by Jan 2010.
Mausam will be produced by Religare Vistaar Entertainment.
